The Khuree Tsam-108 Mongolian religious and traditional dance with masks project will be implemented in 2007. The 108 Khuree Tsam has been created by Gankhuyag Natsag and his team for over ten years. This event is not only significant in Mongolian history, but also in international art history. The Khuree Tsam 108 will be recreated completely in 2007 since it was destroyed 70 years ago.

PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE

1. Wednesday, 27th June and Thursday, 28th June

Arrival of the international delegates and our guests in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Shuttle to the hotel or ger and visit to the city.

2. Friday, 29th June

2.1 Central Square of Ulaanbaatar. From 11:00 am till 12:00 pm

Welcome meeting of all the participants and delegations including the Classic Car Event Beijing-Paris 2007

2.2 Parliament House of Mongolia. From 02:00 pm till 05:30 pm

  • 2.2.1 International Arts Festival - Open Forum: International, Cultural and Educational Exchange
  • 2.2.2 Official opening ceremony in the Parliament House in Ulaanbaatar.
  • 2.2.3 Introduction of and greetings by the Representatives of the Mongolian government
  • 2.2.4 Introduction of International and National Delegates
    - The Past, the Present and the Future of ritual dance “Khuree Tsam-108” by Natsag Gankhuyag, Chairman
  • 2.2.5 Open discussion - Cultural Exchange and supporting Mongolian culture abroad
    - Presentation of the International and National delegates to honour the best national artists including the foreign delegates who supported to introduce Mongolian art and culture.

2.3 - Panel Discussion by the Representatives of all the participating International and Mongolian Organizations. Also informal meetings

2.4 - 6:00 pm - Opening of the International Art Exhibition “Goo-Ertunts” in the Art Gallery of the Union of Mongolian Artists. Chinggis Khaan Avenue 1, Ulaanbaatar

RECEPTION

3. Saturday, 30th June

3.1 Free time: /will visit to Gandan Temple/ Till 12:00 pm

3.2 Opening Music - Central Square, Ulaanbaatar. From 02:00 pm till 05:30 pm

  • 3.2.1 Parade of Horse riding, marching of Ancient war Heroes and the delegation of the “Classic Car Event” Beijing-Paris 2007 and the Mongolian musical Fashion show.
  • 3.2.2 Opening ceremony Khuree Tsam-108
  • 3.2.3 Performance of the “Khuree Tsam-108” Show produced by Natsag Gankhuyag and his team, Khan Bogd Ensemble and Tumen-Ekh Ensemble /with the collaboration of many monks and artists/

4. Sunday, 1st July

4.1 Free Time Till 11:30 am

4.2 Opera House, Ulaanbaatar. From 12:00 pm till 02:00 pm

  • 4.2.1 Concert by international and Mongolian artists and Khan Bogd Ensemble
  • 4.2.2 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm - Visit to Art Center
  • 4.2.3 Open Forum: International, Cultural and Educational Exchange.

5. Monday, 2nd July

5.1 10:00 am - 12:00 am - At the building of the Mongolian National TV, 25 Channel TV and UBS TV. Cultural and Educational Exchange of Views and Ideas with national and international delegates. TV show

5.2 2:00 pm-7:00pm - Trip to 13th Century Ancient Park

5.3 Mongolian Open Fire Barbecue Dinner

5.4 Traditional Bonfire-Dancing, Singing and Story Telling

All participantsa will spend overnight in nomadic gers.

6. Tuesday, 3rd July

6.1  We will organise a round trip to the 13th Century Ancient Park with Genco-Tour group, and will have great many activities at the park.

6.2 Show about Mongolian War Heroes’ Glorification Trip to Terelj Natural Park and hiding and race horse etc… natural activities.

6.3 Trip to Terelj National Park and Ulaanbaatar

7. Thursday, 5th July

Short trip to Selenge province. Visit to the city and/ or shuttle to the Airport

A documentary film will be made by Swiss TV and Mongolian National TV. Well known professional photographers, Oktyabri from the OK Photo Studio in Ulaanbaatar together with Paul Van Wouwe from Yinti bvba in Belgium, will take high quality photos.

If some participants want to stay longer, then we will arrange a special private trip to more historical and natural sightseeings. Please refer to special tour program for details.
